TPG Architecture Promotes 2 from Retail Group to Principal

NEW YORK (February 2015) – In a strategic move to lay the foundation for
its future, TPG Architecture announced the promotion, to Principal, of two longtime
employees this week. “These promotions are an investment in the future of TPG Architecture,” said James Phillips, Founder of TPG. “They reflect the dedication and talent of two highly valued employees: Gladys Yue and Ron Alalouf. We support and acknowledge the next generation and know that the future of TPG promises to be creative, intuitive and dedicated to making TPG the best firm possible.”

Gladys Yue – age 40
Soon after joining TPG in 2004 as Art Director, Gladys Yue was promoted to Studio Director/Associate Principal, and is now Principal. In this position Yue will
continue to do what she has been doing: continuing to build and expand TPG’s
graphic studio. Yue is focused on project management and design, and her
group serves as a resource for other TPG studios as she and her team created
branded environments; corporate identities, updates and branding
recommendations; and designing signage and wayfinding systems. In her new
role, she will build on and enhance her previous responsibilities while focusing on
new branding and graphics business development. Yue was the lead in
designing updated branding for TPG in 2014, and has also recently worked for
the Unilever, NHL, City University of New York, HBO, Irving Place Capital, CMG,
Conde Nast, MTA and HealthFirst, among many others.

Ron Alalouf – age 38
Ron Alalouf joined TPG Architecture in 1999 as Job Captain and was promoted
several times over his 13 year career with TPG to Project Architect, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and, most recently, Project Director/Associate Principal as part of TPG’s Retail Studio. His work and focus has evolved from site surveys, code analysis, drafting, construction drawings, coordination of consultants, client interaction, and construction administration to those of his new role as Principal, where Alalouf
will continue to oversee specific retail accounts while overseeing staffing,
accounting, marketing and new business development. Some of his clients have
included Belstaff, Fontainebleau, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, Max Mara, Rolex,
Salvatore Ferragamo, St. John, and Valentino.

About TPG
TPG Architecture was founded in 1979 and has grown from its initial dual
partnership to a firm with a staff of over 185 professionals. Headquartered in
New York City, TPG works locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, and
