Tuesday Morning Ceo Retires

Tuesday Morning Corp. (Dallas) announced that CEO Michael Rouleau has retired, and the company has begun a search for his replacement. The company has hired Herbert Mines Associates (New York) to oversee the search.

To streamline the transition, Rouleau will remain as a consultant through March, and Tuesday Morning chair Steven R. Becker will serve as the company’s executive chair and interim principal officer.

Becker has been a director at the company since 2012 when his hedge fund purchased more than 6 percent of Tuesday Morning stock. Rouleau had retired as ceo at Michaels (Irving, Texas), and Becker recruited him to join Tuesday Morning and help turn the company around in 2012.

According The Dallas Morning News, Rouleau’s decision to retire from Tuesday Morning was unexpected.
