Tuesday Morning Launches Liquidation Sales

The “Going Out of Business” signs have gone up at Tuesday Morning’s (Dallas) 200 stores in 25 U.S. states. The decision to close the business entirely comes almost three months after it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, citing “exceedingly burdensome debt” for the move.

For now, shoppers can save up to 30 percent off the lowest ticketed prices across the stores on variety of home decor, toys, pet supplies, luggage, beauty, crafts, seasonal decorations and more. Select fixtures, furnishings and equipment are also for sale.

Founded in 1974, Tuesday Morning once had nearly 700 stores before downsizing in recent years. In addition to its bankruptcy filing earlier this year, it had also done so in 2020. It joins Bed Bath & Beyond in deciding to close its doors this year.
