Tuesday Morning Names Interim CFO

Tuesday Morning (Dallas) has named Marc Katz as its interim CFO, according to a government SEC filing.

Katz was most recently the CFO at Burlington Stores and replaces Stacie Shirley who left in March 2021. The company is reportedly still searching for a permanent CFO to fill the position. In early May, the company announced it had hired Fred Hand as its CEO, another former Burlington exec.

The retailer emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy this past January with 490 stores after it had closed nearly 200, Retail Dive reports. For its financial quarter ending March 31, the company reported a $12 million operating loss. It also reported a sales decline of 7.5 percent year over year.
