Ugg Australia, a division of Deckers Outdoor Corp., will open a dedicated Ugg for Men flagship store this week in New York. Located at 600 Madison Avenue, and connected to the current Ugg Australia store, it will be the first dedicated Ugg for Men location.
The design inspiration of the new 800-square-foot store is taken from the worlds of aviation, sailing and motorcycle culture, including hand-screwed and riveted aluminum plates in fixtures and seating inspired by a Spitfire fighter plane with hammered aluminum plates and hand-finished antiqued leather.
“Ugg for Men has grown into a stand-alone line that deserves its own storefront,” says Connie Rishwain, president, Ugg Australia. “Men requested their own dedicated space and we’re excited to give them just that.”
