Uniqlo Launches E-Commerce Site in U.S.

Uniqlo (a subsidiary of Fast Retailing Co. Ltd.; Yamaguchi City, Japan) plans to open 20 to 30 more stores in North America through 2020, with the goal of generating $10 billion in sales in North America by the same year, according to Internet Retailer. To help build interest in those new locations, the company added a website in the U.S. to sell its fast-fashion apparel.

Uniqlo has a handful of stores in the U.S., including its first store on the West Coast which recently opened in San Francisco.
