VMSD Looking for Next Year’s Designer Dozen

VMSD is calling for nominees for its 2014 Designer Dozen, which highlights the 12 up-and-coming designers, under age 35, who’ve made a difference in their companies – whether independent design firms or retail organizations – with fresh ideas, innovative methods and get-it-done attitudes.

The 12 who are selected will be celebrated at a party in their honor during GlobalShop next year in Las Vegas and featured in a multi-page spread in the pages of the magazine.

There are subtle advantages, as well. Faith Bartrug of Faith Bartrug Design in Columbus, Ohio, has become a regular blogger on the VMSD web site and a frequent resource in the magazine’s roundup articles.

She says: “The Designer Dozen award has provided great exposure to Faith Bartrug Design and has personally provided a renewed enthusiasm for finding new clients and collaborating with existing relationships.”

Information about rules, forms, contacts and requirements can be found on the VMSD web site.

The deadline for submitting your company’s best and brightest is Jan. 30, 2014. For additional questions or assistance, contact managing editor Robin Donovan, robin.donovan@stmediagroup.com.
