Display Craft Mfg Co– Management Changes
Display Craft Mfg Co. (Baltimore, MD) appointed Linda Douglas as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She is an experienced leader in the retail apparel, luxury, specialty, and fashion brand industries specializing in the store environment, display fixtures, and visual merchandising who was most recently Executive Vice President for Rocket Redbox, NY. Linda will lead all aspects of the company’s growth with particular focus on expanding Display Craft’s Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
Linda Douglas- BIO
Linda Douglas is an experienced leader in the retail fixture industry. She has spent over 25 years specializing in the field of store fixtures/display and visual merchandising for several major corporations.
Her passion for visual presentation brought her to the Art Institute in Philadelphia where she graduated with a degree in Specialized Technology. Linda began her career with Zale Corp, a national jewelry retailer, as a Field Display Coordinator and quickly rose to the position of Director of Visual Merchandising at their corporate headquarters. In this role she managed multi-million dollar budgets and the implementation of nationwide projects. Her leadership at Zale provided a cohesive brand message for store design.
Linda joined Pacific Northern in 1996 as a Senior Vice President where she was key in the company’s overall growth. She led a team with her extensive experience in product design, customer sales, domestic/import manufacturing, and store installations servicing jewelry retailers. She was promoted to Executive Vice President to expand and diversify the business through acquisitions, new product categories, international growth, with new focus on fashion brands across all retail as well as optical and watch industries. Linda continued to build and maintain extensive customer and vendor relations in the US, Asia and Europe expanding into the international arena. Her outstanding performance was recognized by major retailers JC Penney and Sears with corporate service awards.
In 2007 she joined Fleetwood Fixtures as Vice President of Sales and appointed member of their executive committee. Her reorganization of all sales efforts and project management greatly contributed towards the company’s focus to elevate the Fleetwood brand successfully. Linda’s leadership at Fleetwood generated incremental sales and profits and expanded the company into the global market, both in manufacturing and client services.
Linda continues her commitment to bring the best in form, fit, and function to displays and fixtures throughout the retail industry. Her experience in the global market fuels her energies in finding the best solutions for her clients.
