Waitrose has announced it will open 14 new stores in 2015 — seven convenience shops and seven supermarkets.

With this latest expansion, the company is shifting its focus from central London to the outlying areas.

The company also hopes to open up to six small Waitrose convenience shops in autumn 2015, and plans to open more stores in 2016, according to The Grocer.
