Walmart+ to Offer Subscribers Early Access to Deals

With supply chain concerns top of mind for holiday shoppers, Walmart (Bentonville, Ark.) will offer subscribers to its new Walmart+ service the opportunity to be first in line for Black Friday deals, reports CNBC. Those customers will be able to begin shopping four hours before the sales officially begin through the month of November.

Walmart hopes to increase membership in the subscription service by offering the early access given that, per Accenture, one-third of holiday shoppers are concerned about stock availability during the holiday season.

Deutsche Bank estimates 32 million households have signed up for Walmart+ membership, though the retailer will not disclose that actual figure.
