We'll Always Have Paris

Hermes unveiled its 16th freestanding U.S. store, and its second to open in New York in 10 weeks. The French luxury goods company tapped Rena Dumas, the interior architect firm that created Hermes's 20,200-square-foot Madison Avenue flagship, for the design of the 1300-square-foot shop at the Americana Manhasset shopping center.

Like the flagship, which opened in September, the new store carries the brand's well-known handbags and silkscreened scarves, plus men's and women's apparel, home furnishing and jewelry. The interior recalls the company's Paris flagship with cherry wood fixtures and custom lighting.
