Whole Foods Plans Store Inside Sears

Whole Foods Markets (Austin, Texas) will open its first store in the Albany, N.Y., area inside a Sears Holdings Corp. (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) store at Colonie Center, reports The Business Review.

The 32,000-square-foot, ground-floor store is expected to open in late 2013 or early 2014 and will tale over a portion of the Sears department store. The retailers have a similar arrangement at a store in Greensboro, N.C.
