Wrangler Releases Anniversary Collection

Denim brand Wrangler (Greensboro, N.C.) is releasing a collection in honor of its 70th anniversary.

Dubbed the “throwback collection,” according to the Triad Business Journal, it will feature details that were popular in the 1970s, such as slim-fit jeans with rips, button-down shirts, ringer tees and high-rise crop skinny jeans.

In addition to being sold online, the “throwback collection” will be sold in Wrangler stores in Dallas and Denver, as well as select locations of Macy’s (Cincinnati) and PacSun (Anaheim, Calif.).

Wrangler, which was established in 1947 to provide jeans made specifically for cowboys, is now owned by VF Corp (Greensboro, N.C.).
