81 New Dollar Generals in February

Dollar General Corp. (Goodlettsville, Tenn.) opened 81 new stores in the four-week period ended Feb. 28, 2003. With these additional stores, the company operated 6192 stores.

The new locations include five in Alabama; four in Florida; five in Georgia; two in Iowa; three in Illinois; one in Indiana; two in Kentucky; three in Louisiana; one in Maryland; four in Michigan; two in Missouri; five in Mississippi; six in North Carolina; one in Nebraska; four in New York; six in Ohio; 13 in Pennsylvania; three in South Carolina; one in Tennessee; nine in Texas; and one in West Virginia.
