A New Pair of Reeboks

Reebok International Ltd. (Canton, Mass.) has announced the appointment of presidents at two of its divisions.

Terry Pillow, previously president and ceo of The Rockport Co., is the new president of Ralph Lauren Footwear, Reebok's footwear license division. He replaces Leslie Smith, who resigned last April to pursue other opportunities within Reebok. Rick Paterno, formerly president of Easy Spirit, replaces Pillow at the helm of Rockport.

“For the past two years, Pillows has successfully transformed the image of Rockport to a more modern and contemporary lifestyle brand,” said Jay Margolis, president of Reebok's specialty business group. “I am confident that under his leadership, Ralph Lauren Footwear will grow both in sales and profits.”

Margolis shows similar optimism about Paterno. “Under Rick's direction,” Margolis stated, “Easy Spirit experienced significant volume growth and enjoyed two consecutive years of record profits. He'll bring that same determination and results-driven approach to Rockport.”

Reebok International is a worldwide designer, marketer and distributor of fitness and casual footwear, apparel and equipment (including the Reebok brand) and owns The Rockport Co., the Greg Norman Collection and Ralph Lauren Footwear.
