Alexander McQueen Debuts London Store

London-based fashion house Alexander McQueen has unveiled a new Bond Street flagship in its home city, joining the ranks of a host of other luxury retailers on the thoroughfare.

Located in a former DKNY space, the three-floor store spans 11,000 square feet and is four times larger than the brand’s former flagship across the street, according to Women’s Wear Daily. The aesthetic of the space takes on a primeval feel, with natural wood tones, abstract sculptural features throughout and fitting rooms resembling yurts. Colorful handmade bugs and butterflies dot its black fishnet-lined store windows facing Old Bond Street.

The retailer plans to transform certain areas of the space depending on the season and “mood” of its latest collections by transitioning different fabrics into its dressing rooms and across the store.
