All-American Sports Center Launches Flagship Store

The All-American Sports Center opened its first flagship location in Mobile, Ala., yesterday. The store is a partnership between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Field & Stream, both of which are owned by Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. (Coraopolis, Penn.).

The new concept store brings together the breadth of outdoor and sporting goods equipment, as well as apparel and accessories, traditionally found in both stores, but now available under one roof. Customers are able to shop freely between the two stores and purchase merchandise in either part. According to a press release, the store is an effort “to make the shopping experience as convenient as possible.”

The store also offers a variety of specialty areas for customers, including an in-house archery range and services such as golf club fittings and bicycle repairs. It will begin offering instructional courses to customers starting in September.
