Award of Merit
Gensler, New York
The five-story American Girl Place flagship on Fifth Avenue, which includes a theater, café and store, offers the ultimate fancy day out for mothers and daughters. Branding begins with exterior awnings in AG’s signature berry red and continues in the details: the store’s berry-red carpeting, the foyer’s light fixtures with star cutouts and the café’s black-and-white striped walls.
