WITH NEUTRAL-TONED walls and floors as a blank canvas, color comes alive at the headquarters and exhibition hall of the paint company Kabel in Foshan, China.

Visitors are greeted in the lobby by acrylic lights meant to resemble stars. Smooth architectural lines guide guests through the 10,764-square-foot space “where colors become stories and art intertwines with technology,” says Chief Designer Li Xiaoshui of Topway Space Design.

On their journey, guests will find freestanding trees, a wall of paint swatches, art installations and glass test tubes filled with color. Finally, visitors enter the meditation area, where a glass brick wall filters sunlight for a warm, relaxing ambience.
