Apple Retail Chief Exits

Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.) executives John Browett and Scott Forstall are leaving the company, The Wall Street Journal reports. Browett served as the company’s new retail chief. Forstall, who oversaw Apple's mobile software unit, was asked to leave after he refused to sign his name to a letter apologizing for issues with Apple's new mapping software.

The electronics retailer plans to open another retail store in China. The location in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen will be unveiled this weekend and follows the opening of a new Beijing store in the Wangfujing district earlier this month.
