Global architecture and design firm Callison (Seattle) announced today that it will be acquired by Netherlands-based ARCADIS, a global natural and built asset design and consultancy firm.

Callison plans to join ARCADIS, which also owns the built asset consultancy firm EC HARRIS, architectural design firm RTKL, and Asia-based construction program planning and value management consultancy Langdon & Seah, according to The Wall Street Journal. Callison is one of the largest design firms in the U.S., with 11 offices and more than 1000 employees.
