Batteries Plus Nearly Finished with Remodeling Store Fleet

Batteries Plus (Hartland, WI) says that 600 of its locations, or 90% of its store fleet, have undergone its “Project Volt” remodeling effort.

The company says the goal of Project Volt is to communicate its position as a specialty retailer of “more than just batteries.”

Design features of the new or remodeled stores include updated signage that reflects the retailer’s recent rebranding, the implementation of digital displays from Samsung, and the installation of contemporary counters and fixtures.

Batteries Plus says the stores that have implemented the rebranding are outperforming non-rebranded stores by an average of 4%.
