Bergmeyer’s first and longest serving President, David J. Tubridy, AIA, LEED AP, has announced his retirement. David led the firm’s ownership transition from founder Mori Bergmeyer in 1988 and has served the firm as President ever since. In his career, he practiced in all of our firm’s specialties. His projects include a new commercial building at 300 Ocean Ave in Revere, the historic renovation of the Motor Mart Garage in Park Square, and the gut renovation and repositioning of 470 Atlantic Avenue on Boston’s waterfront. Dave also led the development of Bergmeyer’s higher education specialty beginning with the design of Atlantic Hall for Salem State University in 2004 and eventually reaching university clients throughout New England. A graduate of Pratt Institute and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Dave was an active member of the Society of College and University Planners and the Boston Society of Architects.
Thank you, Dave, for all of your leadership, guidance, and inspiration!
