Beyond Inc., parent company of the Bed, Bath & Beyond and Overstock brands, announced Carlisha Robinson as the company’s new chief customer officer in a press release from the company.
The company also relaunched the Overstock.com website earlier this week. Executive Chairman Marcus Lemonis said in a recent earnings call that shutting down Overstock.com was a “fatal mistake.”
Robinson, in her new role of Chief Customer Officer, will be responsible for customer experience across Beyond Inc.’s brands. The company said Robinson had a key role in Overstock.com’s acquisition of Bed, Bath & Beyond. Robinson also supported Beyond Inc.’s acquisition of online retailer Zulily earlier this month.
“Carlisha’s commitment to customer-centricity and innovation combined with her leadership qualities make her the ideal candidate to guide us into the future and help us improve the end-to-end customer experience,” Chandra Holt, CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond, said in a press release.
