Big Apple Openings

Two upscale retailers, Tumi and Kenzo, recently opened new stores in New York.

Tumi, a South Plainfield, N.J.-based luggage retailer, opened its 15th location, in Rockefeller Plaza. The 2000-square-foot store offers the company's full collection of luggage, brief cases and business accessories, as well as Tumi T2, a collection of backpacks and messenger bags in nylon that has more urban appeal.

Kenzo, a LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton apparel brand, just opened its second New York store in five years. The 3500-square-foot boutique, formerly an art gallery located at 80 Wooster Street, features white painted floors and dark wood fixtures by Christian Liaigre.
