Blue Nile Debuts in D.C.

Online jewelry retailer Blue Nile (Seattle) has unveiled it will continue its brick-and-mortar expansion it began at the beginning of this year. The next store will open in Washington D.C.’s Tyson Corner Center by mid-summer.

Washingtonian reports the new location will be similar to the New York location and will continue to operate in the store’s “Webroom” model. This format allows customers to preview products in person before placing orders for online fulfillment.

The article also states the New York Webroom increased sales in the market, so the store has also planned another location in White Plains, New York, to open by early summer.
