Bonaveri Acquires Schlappi Mannequin Co.

Bonaveri, the Italian mannequin manufacturer, announced it has acquired the Schlappi Mannequin Co. of Switzerland. Both companies will be distributed exclusively by George Dell, Inc. (New York), which has been representing Bonaveri for more than 15 years in the Western Hemisphere. Both companies'lines will be shown at the George Dell showroom (151 W. 25th St., New York) during the ShopEast market in New York in December.

“By combining the craftsmanship, design and flexibility of Bonaveri and the high form and faithfulness to its style of Schlappi, Bonaveri will now be able to reinforce its success also in the field of high quality full and abstract figures,” said Dell. “Both Bonaveri and Schlappi have important things in common. Both companies were founded in the 1950s, and they both have a good, world-wide reputation, thanks to their always offering exclusive and original designs.”
