Burberry Ceo Steps Down

Burberry (London) announced that its ceo will be stepping down.  The British luxury brand said Marco Gobbetti, the boss of French brand Céline, would succeed Christopher Bailey as chief executive next year.

Christopher Bailey held the dual roles of ceo and chief creative officer since May 2014, according to The New York Times. Burberry was the first publicly listed fashion company to allow one person to hold both roles.

Baily will stay on as Burberry’s president and chief creative office.
