Century 21 (New York) plans to open a new flagship in New York’s Brooklyn neighborhood tomorrow. The four-story, 140,000-square-foot store is the company’s 11th store and its second largest location.
The store features a variety of materials included polished cement floors, black lacquer accents and silvery “ballet-bar” fixtures. When designing this store, the company merchandised it by brand rather than size and features more than 200 mannequins in its displays, which are rare in off-price stores, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
This new store design comes as the retailer has recently begun testing markets in various U.S. cities with pop-up stores for other future locations. The retailer is also testing out a variety of new ideas, including its first private label credit card and a fine jewelry section, which will debut at its Manhattan flagship in New York this month.
