Chico’s Changes Marketing Strategies

Women’s clothing retailer Chico’s (Fort Myers, Fla.) has announced that it will move away from its centralized marketing strategy. The company will instead allow each of the company’s three brands, Chico’s, White House | Black Market and Soma, to make individualized marketing decisions.

Retailing Today reports that the current president of digital commerce and cmo Miki Berardelli is leaving the company. She will be replaced by each of the company’s brand presidents.

Chico’s also announced that the company will reduce marketing expenses by $11 million and hopes to generate annual savings of $14 million.
