Chico’s (Fort Meyers, Fla.) has named Nancy Johnson, a former Macy’s (New York) executive, as its new Senior VP and General Merchandise Manager of Merchandising and Design. She will be responsible for overseeing design, strategy and products. She will report directly to Molly Lagenstein, the company’s President and CEO, according to a company press release. Johnson was formerly the Executive VP of Private Brands for Macy’s.
Chico’s has also named Dimple Rao as its new VP of Product Management. Rao will report to the company’s Chief Digital Officer Jay Topper and will oversee the architecture and designing of “end-to-end” customer experiences.
Lagenstein says, “Nancy is a results focused customer led leader with deep knowledge of product and sourcing and has built multiple brands successfully that have contributed to consistent revenue growth across an omnichannel marketplace … Dimple has a proven track record of driving customer growth, revenue and digital adoption using product design and development, customer experience transformation and marketing.
