Chopard, Valentino in New Miami Mall

Brickell City Centre, a new 500,000-square-foot shopping mall in downtown Miami is currently being developed. The developers, Swire Properties (Hong Kong), announced that Chopard (Meyrin, Switzerland) and Valentino (Milan) have signed on as tenants.

Chopard will occupy a 1500-square-foot space in the mall, and the Valentino store will be 2000 square feet in size. The retailers are the mall’s first luxury tenants and will join other retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue (New York). In total, it anticipates 140 businesses filling the 70,000-square-foot shopping space.

Brickell City Centre will be a 5.4-million square-foot mixed-use space that includes the shopping center as well as two residential towers, two office towers and a hotel. The total project is expected to cost $1.05 billion, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
