Clip Strip Corp. Launches New Blog – “POP Fuel” for Retail Store and Brand Merchandisers

Hackensack, NJ, May 27, 2015

Clip Strip Corp., the company behind the revolutionary retail store point of purchase (aka “POP”) Clip Strip® Brand Merchandising Strip, has launched a new blog called “POP Fuel” for retail store and brand merchandisers.

The new POP Fuel blog, which is located at http://clipstrip.com/pop-fuel, was created to help merchandisers worldwide make better in-store business decisions, achieve greater operational results, and ultimately contribute to a more efficient and effective marketplace in which everyone wins.

To achieve these key objectives, Clip Strip Corp.’s POP Fuel blog features an ongoing stream of fresh and exclusive content covering tips, advice, strategies, tactics, commentary, best practices and lessons learned. Some recently-published blog post titles include:

  • “Utilizing Loyalty Programs to Earn Return Visits”
  • “How to Utilize Visual Marketing Principles in Display”
  • “Merchandising Tips for POS Marketing and Impulse Buys”
  • “Merchandising to Omni-Channel Consumers”
  • “Crowdsourcing Secrets for Store Owners”

Additional topics currently in the production pipeline include: indoor environment POS systems, retail store security, brand competition, affordable store sign printing techniques, overcoming brand struggles to get shelf space, ideas to overcome barriers, etc.

Also of note, Clip Strip Corp. has incorporated two unusual design features in POP Fuel that further separate it from conventional manufacturer/distributor industrial blogs: its editorial perspective and commenting capabilities.

With respect to editorial, POP Fuel looks at issues and provides advice on areas where Clip Strip Corp. doesn’t even have products and services to offer. It’s an approach that Chief Business Officer John Spitaletta says was made to emphasize the fact that, “Our blog isn’t about our company singularly, or about our products. It’s about supporting professionals in the entire retail merchandising field.”

With respect to commenting, rather than restricting or rejecting dissent, POP Fuel encourages written opinion/feedback. Adds Spitaletta, “Naturally, we will approve a comment before posting to ensure that the language is appropriate. But we have no intention of discouraging healthy discussion and passionate debate. On the contrary, we encourage both of them!”

In addition, Clip Strip Corp. is inviting merchandisers, owners, purchasers, marketers, analysts, and all other professionals who work directly or indirectly in the retail merchandising field to apply as “Guest Bloggers”, so they can share their knowledge, give back to the community, and build their brand.

For all other information, media inquiries, or to apply to be a POP Fuel Guest Blogger, contact Kamala Goldman, Blog Manager, at 1-800-4-CLIP-STRIP (1-800-425-4778) ext 204, or kamala(at)clipstrip(dot)com.
