Coach Appoints Brand President

Coach (New York) announced it has named Joshua Schulman as its new president and chief executive. This is a newly created role, which he will assume on June 5 when he will become responsible for all aspects of the Coach brand.

He currently is the president of Bergdorf Goodman (New York) and will continue to work there until May 10. Upon his leave, Chief Merchandising Officer James Gold will assume his responsibilities as Neiman Marcus (Dallas) searches for his replacement.

The company also promoted Ian Bickley to another newly created role as president, global business development and strategic alliances. He will assume that role on July 2, reports Business of Fashion.
