Coach Plans for Fifth Avenue 'Coach House' Flagship

Coach Inc. (New York) announced in a press release that it plans to open a flagship on New York’s Fifth Avenue this fall, which will coincide with the brand’s 75th anniversary.

The goal of the store is to create a “Coach House” that will celebrate the company’s heritage and history of craftsmanship.  It will be designed by Executive Creative Director Stuart Vevers in partnership with Studio Sofield. Features will include a blackened steel and mahogany staircase, custom-designed cabinetry and vintage furniture.

Located at 685 Fifth Avenue, the 20,000-square-foot store is expected to include the full assortment of women’s and men’s products, including bags, footwear and ready-to-wear. It will also include a shopping salon and “craftsmanship bar.”
