Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Sets SF Invasion

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Los Angeles) is setting its sights northward, by planning a major expansion into the San Francisco market, NBCBayarea.com reports. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which currently operates just three locales in San Francisco, plans to open up to 50 coffee shops in that market. In doing so, the company is treading onto turf already heavily occupied by Starbucks, Peet’s and a host of independents, the web site notes.
