Dogeared to Open First Flagship

Dogeared (Los Angeles) is opening its first brick-and-mortar retail store, which will coincide with the jewelry retailer’s 25th anniversary. The 1200-square-foot store is located at 2909 Main Street in Santa Monica, Calif., near the company’s original design studio.

The store’s exterior was designed by Catherine McKenna Architect Inc. (Agoura Hills, Calif.), and its interior by Maggie Pierson. The exterior is white and features barn lights and black steel windows and doors. Inside, materials include antique bronze, walnut and white rifted oak. There are plans to collaborate with artist Colette Miller to make an interactive installation featuring angel wings inside the store, reports Apparel News.
