Domenico Vacca Closes, Moves Flagship Store

The luxury fashion brand Domenico Vacca (New York) announced that it is moving its New York flagship store.

For the past decade, the designer's store was located in Sherry Netherland Hotel on Fifth Avenue. Starting in September, the store will be located near Central Park at 15 W. 55th St., across from the five-star Peninsula Hotel.

New York Post reports that the new location will be in a 13-story residential building that, until recently, was an illegal hotel. The company has plans to redesign the building’s lobby, common areas and residences, as well as include in the renovations a members-only club, rooftop lounge, café, barber shop, hair salon, and 30 furnished apartment units that Vacca will personally design.
