Dyson Plans New York Flagship

Dyson (Malmesbury, U.K.) has signed a lease to open a brick-and-mortar storefront in New York, located on Fifth Avenue.

The space will operate as a Dyson Demo, allowing customers to interact with the company’s various products (which include a supersonic hair dryer, air purifier and LED lighting in addition to vacuums) in a hands-on way.

The company previously opened a similar space in London, and it has been looking to open additional ones since then.

The 3167-square-foot space is expected to open by fall 2017. The space is currently a pop-up café that is slated to close in March 2017. The space features a 36-foot-high glass atrium entrance as well as 26 feet of street-front space, reports New York Post.
