Eddie Bauer Launches TV Ad Campaign

Eddie Bauer (Bellevue, Wash.) began airing its new television commercial marketing campaign yesterday. This is the first time the retailer has aired a television campaign since 1999.

The commercial first aired yesterday and will run through Dec. 18, reports AdAge. The retailer will also use the footage in other digital formats to reach and engage consumers while also engaging in various social-media outreaches.

In preparation for the new ad campaign, the retailer studied its customer base for two years, which revealed the “active enthusiast” as a shopper personal that the retailer needed to address.

The retailer collaborated with Factory Design Labs (Denver) on creating the commercial.
