Owner Amber Feltman envisioned a garden of fashion for her Eve women's apparel and jewelry shop in Denver. To tempt shoppers inside her trendy boutique, she designed a space with color, class and a touch of biblical mischief.
Dallas artist Rolando Diaz painted the store's centerpiece, a Celtic-looking mural of Eve and her forbidden fruit, which rests above the black marble-topped cashwrap. The surrounding walls are inviting apple colors: rich shades of yellow, red and green, complemented by earthy hardwood floors.
Patrons pick and choose funky skirts, blouses and jeans hanging from swirled, wrought-iron fixtures and peruse jewelry showcased on matching tables with fruit-etched ceramic plates. MR16 lights line the perimeters, highlighting the merchandise while maintaining a romantic, candle-lit feel. Distinguished by dramatic purple and gold drapes, the fitting rooms offer an air of royalty. And the storefront, navy with gold trim, bears the curly-cued Eve sign, complete with the tell-tale fig leaf.
