Express Inc. has brought its trendy, apparel chain to Canada, opening its first store in Toronto’s Fairview Mall.

The retailer, which operates more than 600 stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, plans to unveil six stores in Canada. Two more locations are planned for the Toronto area and three will open in Calgary by the end of 2011.

The retailer expects to add an additional 50 stores across the country over the next five years.
