Finish Line Sells JackRabbit

Finish Line Inc. (Indianapolis) has sold JackRabbit, its specialty running store division, to CriticalPoint Capital LLC, a Los-Angeles-based private investment firm.

JackRabbit has 65 stores in 17 states and sells running gear brands such as Brooks, Asics and Hoka One One, according to Chain Store Age. Last fiscal year, it generated $90 million in sales, which is 4.8 percent of Finish Line’s total sales.

"As we exit the running specialty business, we dedicate our entire focus to serving our core Finish Line and Finish Line Macy’s customers and driving profitable results that provide return to our shareholders," said Sam Sato, Finish Line's ceo.
