A fireworks display from Bergdorf Goodman’s (New York) rooftop helped the department store unveil its holiday window displays last night. The festivities included a performance from the Broadway Kids Care choir and a UNICEF-partnered lighting of Bergdorf’s traditional holiday snowflake that hangs over the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Bergdorf’s 2014 holiday windows, themed “The Arts” feature displays that celebrate literature (with needlepoint portraits of great authors), theater (with neon lights and a gold Julien Macdonald gown) and painting (with a model wearing a painted Dolce & Gabbana gown in a “workshop” with brushes and easels strewn about).
