Fixture Manufacturers Announce Retail Advisory Council

The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (Hollywood, Fla.) announced its expanded 23-member Retail Advisory Council for 2003.

Heading the list are the six designers and retailers who will sit on the association's Executive Committee: Ted Clemens, vp, store planning, Abercrombie & Fitch (New Albany, Ohio); Dennis Gerdeman, principal, Chute Gerdeman Group (Columbus, Ohio); Mark Randall, director, fixture purchasing, Best Buy Co. (Eden Prairie, Minn.); Terri Roberts, manager, casework, Starbucks Corp. (Seattle); Michael Saubert, fixture designer — hardlines, Sears Roebuck & Co. (Hoffman Estates, Ill.); and Kathleen Socha, president/design director, Phase One Design Services Inc. (Atlanta).

The 17 members of the NASFM 2003 Retail Advisory Council will include: Judy Bell, corporate manager of innovation, Target Corp. (Minneapolis); Timothy Brannon, executive vp, operations, The Athlete's Foot Group Inc. (Kennesaw, Ga.); Christian Davies, vp, creative director, Utility Inc. (Seattle); Barbara Fabing, vp, group design director, Frankel Brand Environments (Chicago); Joe Flaherty, operating vp, construction, Federated Department Stores (Cincinnati);

Rudy Javosky, senior vp, design and construction, Federated Department Stores (Cincinnati);Robert Lhota, senior director, store design, The Gap Inc. (San Francisco); Michael Lopez, design director, Kmart Corp. (Troy, Mich.); Chuck Luckenbill, vp, visual merchandising, Kohl's (Menomonee Falls, Wis.); Tony Mancini, senior vp, global retail store development, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts/Imagineering (Lake Buena Vista, Fla.); Rich Marshall, vp, construction, store planning and maintenance, The Home Depot (Atlanta); Jeff Mason, director, visual merchandising, The Paradies Shops (Atlanta); Steven McKay, principal, DLR Group (Seattle); Ken Poston, vp, planning and design, Saks Inc.
