Management Changes:


Federated Department Stores Inc. (Cincinnati department store retailer) has hired Bradley Mays as vp of tax. Mays, who was previously vp of tax for Saks Inc., will report to cfo Karen Hoguet.

Pamida Inc. (Green Bay, Wis., division of ShopKo Stores Inc., retail chain) has added Steve Sherod as director of loss prevention. Sherod, who joined the company's ShopKo division in 1994, will handle loss prevention programs at all Pamida stores and the corporate headquarters.

VUTEk (Meredith N.H., inkjet printer manufacturer) has hired Antonio Santiso Pozo as regional manager for Spain and Portugal.

Coburn Graphic Films Inc. (Lakewood, N.J., an IGI company, special-effect films manufacturer) has appointed Jim Cerreta as eastern regional sales manager. Cerreta is also responsible for developing new business for International Graphic Films Inc., another IGI company.

TIR Systems Ltd. (Vancouver, B.C., lighting systems manufacturer and designer) has named David Monroe vp global sales, corporate identity markets. Monroe was previously with Intrinsyc Software International.

Sanitas Wallcoverings (Fairlawn, Ohio, div. of RJF Intl. Corp., wallcoverings manufacturer and distributor) has added Laurie Homan as territory manager for Greater Cincinnati.

Business Briefs:


Martin Professional (Aarhus, Denmark, manufacturer of computer-controlled entertainment lighting equipment, speaker systems and smoke machines) has been named technical lighting partner for Ministry of Sound (London multifaceted music company). Martin installed a lighting kit in the Ministry of Sound club in London, as well as in locations in Taiwan and Thailand.

Tara Graphics (Huntsville, Ala., digital printer) is celebrating its 10th year in business. The company started as a sister company of Tara Manufacturing, a vinyl liner manufacturer, and became a separate entity in July 2003.
