Gap Inc. Hires Fashion Designer Zac Posen as Creative Director

Fashion designer Zac Posen is set to join the c-suite of Gap Inc. (San Francisco) as Creative Director in a move to “reinvigorate” the conglomerate’s brand, according to a company press release. Posen will also serve as Chief Creative Officer of Old Navy (San Francisco), which is owned by Gap Inc.

As Creative Director, Posen “will serve as a cultural curator and creative partner” to Gap Inc. CEO Richard Dickson, according to a press release released by the company.

“[Posen’s] technical expertise and cultural clarity have consistently evolved American fashion, making him a great fit for the company as we ignite a new culture of creativity across the portfolio and reinvigorate our storied brands,” Dickson said in a statement.
