Gap to Launch in Slovenia and Austria

Gap Inc. (San Francisco) released a company statement yesterday announcing the brand's launch into Slovenia and Austria. Franchise partner Gottex, which currently operates Gap’s franchise business in Israel and Hungary, will open the Austrian stores.

The first store will open in Vienna this October. New franchise partner Magistrate International will launch the Slovenian operation. Three stores in the capital city of Ljubljana will open later this year. Gap has more than 300 international franchise stores, while last year marked the retailer's expansion into Hungary, Paraguay, Peru, Brazil and Costa Rica.
