Garnet Hill to Open Pop-Up

This August, Garnet Hill (Franconia, N.H.) will hit the road with a mobile pop-up shop. The retail space will be housed in a shipping container.

The first stop will be Exeter, N.H., for two weeks before the pop-up moves to South Street Seaport in New York for almost a month, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

“One of the reasons we are doing this container is to test the waters in different places,” said Claire Spofford, Garbet Hill’s president and chief executive officer. “We are looking at the potential of opening some more stores, a very finite number over the next few years. But we are not talking about a major brick-and-mortar rollout.”

Garnet Hill currently has one physical store in Bridgehampton, N.Y.
