Google to Open First Brick-and-Mortar Location

Google will open its first physical store, Google Store, in New York City this summer, according to The Verge.

The store, which will be located in Chelsea, will offer a variety of Google products including mobile phones, smart home devices and laptops. It will also offer buy online, pickup in store (BOPIS) services.

Though the tech giant has experimented with popups and other temporary activations, this store will represent its first more permanent commitment to brick-and-mortar retail.
